I bought my much awaited car that is Hyundai I20 Sportz(CRDI, ABS)
I know how people would dream of, When it comes to buying a car. Especially for me this is my first new vehicle I bought. Though I am using different make cars from past 12 Years.
One serious thing I noticed after buying this Car.
Why the hell Hyundai is not even in the mark of touching the pinnacle of Indian Largest selling car. This position is still maintained by Maruti. Thanks for their best penetrated service & low cost spares
I have seen people blaming about Maruti cars for lack of quality features, In India who the hell require all European standard features. After all Hyundai is also not giving you a world class quality features, What ever the features they add, Make sure it is some what of good quality & not the best .
When it comes to my vehicle specs against Maruti's Swift
My I20 is comes with feature rich options from ABS, Driver Air bag, Reverse parking sensor & camera, Day time running lamps. But all the above mentioned specs are not available in Maruti's Swift.
But for all these features I paid more than 1.2 Lakh rs. Is it really worth spending?
Then I met one of my friend who is a car expert, As per his comments I20 is safer than Swift. Do you want to know how?
Because it has ABS, Air bag & Higher down force which keeps the vehicle cemented to the road while going 120+ KMPH in highways.
But my question is it still safe enough even if I met with an accident.
In India no roads are safer, So we require a vehicle which is having a nominal ground clearance to avoid all the potholes.
So the conclusion is rather than investing money on Hyundai(For Additional useless features) go ahead and buy Maruti Vehicles where you could get additional benefits like low maintenance cost, Excellent after sales & Good service back up .
Go ahead friends and Buy Maruti
