As we all know hyundai is known for the awesome cars it produce in the market. Unlike maruti, hyundai uses expensive parts and the cars are sturdy too. Speaking about the build quality of the santro, yes it is a monster. Well I personally own it( Petrol+ LPG version) and one fine day I crashed into the gate of my garage and to my surprise the garage gate broke and there was just a small dent on the bumper. Well this really deserves a wow! Next if looks and style is taken into account yes the car lags a bit in looks but it gives a top notch finish to enjoy the bumpy roads with super comfort. The gearbox is really smooth, even the new models like grand i10 and others feature a gearbox which is not so smooth. The engine has been refined to give decent mileage of about 12kmpl and something of about 15kmpl on highways. The rear lamps really give a cute look to the car. The company fitted tyres are good to last some 5-7 years. The interior is quite good with dual tone beige interiors and unlike the maruti cars in this range, santro does give awesome bootspace for the passengers.The clutch is nice and smooth. The braking performance is also holds good. Recently santro has been discontinued but it is the car which had eraned hyundai its name over the years. According to my verdict, it is a worth for money car which provides some best-in-class facilities.
