I bought this car without much plan for it; I just had to buy one during the last week of December 2015 and I was fully confident that it will turn out to be good because it's from a leading brand. I think that's how people generally make a buying decision.
Any new car looks nice for a while. But with Hyundai Eon Magna+ my expectations proved a big failure within a fortnight or a month. Suddenly my fuel spend had gone up to double though I was driving between the same home and office. The fuel budget for the month was so huge that I had a doubt that there must be some leakage in the tank!
Another shock had come when my aunt accompanied us sitting in the back seat; sitting there in the back seat was so difficult that she sulked and wanted to cancel her program with us. The leg space for the back seat was so horribly small. Finally, my wife in the front seat had to move to the front to make enough room for her mother to get in.
Engine pickup is erratic. Gear shift is not smooth even after 7 months.
As far as fuel consumption, leg space, engine power, gear shift, etc concerned, Hyundai Eon Magna+ is worse than even Nano which my daughter drives to her college. Not at all worth its cost and somehow I want to get rid of this car in exchange soonest.
