Du Lac-cious!. Review on Hotel du Lac - Anita Brookner

I actually started reading this book because I was totally bored!....i had just finished my other book...and was in a reading streak!!...books books!!....i had never even heard of Anita Brookner before this.....but after reading this book....i was ashamed to call myself an avid book reader and not know the amazing descriptive stories of Brookner.....it's a wonderful story bout a woman trying to ''find'' herself....it's very descriptive and if ur not patient..this book probably isnt ur cup of tea!.....its a little bit romantic here and there too......beautiful writing!...really!...somehow the main character int he book reminds me of Virginia Woolf.....the characters in this book are also very interesting......each one of them brings something special to the plot!....the way Brookner expands their personality is witty n very precise!..the plot does have its peaks and its lows....the reader might get a little bored in the middle when it just gets too descriptive without any plot development....but I have to admit though I never wanted to put this book down the minute I started reading it...but yes, it does get a little ''uneventful'' in some parts.....but all that said....all in all....this would be a fun read if u've got some free time to kill!...
