More fool me for expecting a reliable service for such a small amount of money, I guess. Problems that have cropped up over the years I have been with them now seem to be permanent features, with little
or no tech support.
At this time, I cant access any of my sites, or email, or the help desk, or the control panel - and now even the hostonce home page is inaccessible. In the past they have blamed it on bad weather!
In summary:
- Very patchy up time - sites and email often down for days - Poor tech support responses (one liners saying" problem fixed" or standard text thats totally inappropriate for the problem) - Extremely optimistic blurb on their home page! - Email frequently inaccessible - Control Panel frequently inaccessible - Help Desk frequently inaccessible - No notification of maintenance downtime - Status page is laughable - rarely says anything other than "all normal", often with gaps of weeks in between updates. - Control Panel is poorly laid out and not particularly intuitive - hasnt changed since 2002 - Spam filtering is rubbish
Really, stay away from these cowboys. I am about to move - wish I had done so a long time ago.
