Ive been with Hostonce since 2002 and am giving up as of today. Ive known they werent the greatest host for awhile, but have put up with the sort of spotty service over the years
due to the cheap price.
My email though has now officially been down more days than its been up in the last month, with the worst case being right now where I have not received email for over 4 days. Its absolutely ridiculous. Their tech support is a joke and anytime you send in a request, you receive a canned response, usually a day or two later, that often does not even address the contents of your complaint.
They post updates to problems on their status page that are not kept up to date, and never offer any estimate of when an issue may be corrected. They make it impossible to contact them through any means other than their help desk, but often THE HELP DESK PAGE IS UNAVAILABLE when they are having technical issues.
A close friend of mine has had two of her sites down for almost 2 weeks now and while they were happy to take her cash for the domain name and hosting renewal, they have had no interest in responding to her since then or getting her site back up. I feel horrible that I referred her to this hosting company years ago.

Goodbye Hostonce..... Your cheap prices are not worth the heinous service. In the words of Discharge, NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!
