Budget 1or2day trip from blore gud place to relax. Review on Horsley Hills

Nice place to relax for 1-2 days but nothing much to do.Beautiful drive.We started at 10.30 on Saturday morning with our 1.5 yr old kid from old madras road.Its a single road but we are lucky as there is not much traffic.We went at normal 50/60 speed..In between we took break 3 times just to enjoy nature.The drive is very good.Completely out of city.At one place b4 madanapalli we stopped as there is a small pond and we heard some weird sounds.When we looked around we saw hundreds of bats hanging on the nearby trees.Its a very rare sight and we enjoyed it a lot.We reached madanapalli at 12.30.Had lunch and started to horsely hills at 2.30 PM .It took half an hour to reach the place.You can buy silk sarees in a place next to madanapalli(nirugudapalli or something like that) as they weave silk sarees there.And after that you have a place where you can get good pottery.When we reached horsely hills its so cold and we can see mountains around and on some of the mountains its raining.Its a very beautiful scene.There is a mini zoo where they kept crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys, birds.The climate is very good and when we enquired about rooms we felt that inexpensive as forest guest house is around 300rs per night and AP tourism guest houses are around 600-1000 per night.But to book for forest guest house you need to book in madanapalli itself.We started back and reached Bangalore by night.We went to this place on July17, 2010.
