My New city Gxi is almost an year old (made in April 2005) without any major issues. Its been a pleasure driving it in Bangalore and around. Ride quality is great on city roads (read no pot holes), excellent steering (EPS), interiors are very well done (close to a camry I had earlier) and seating comfort is pretty good, default stereo is adequate (you need to get a CD changer).

Only complaint is the sensitivity of the suspension to pot-holes or craters for that matter...when you hit a slightly deep pot-hole at slightly higher speed, the suspension hits the top and makes a very uncomfortable loud thud (can scare your neighbours on the road). Obviously this car was not meant for any off-roading...

The only issue I have had is a light rattle on the front passenger door which the service station quickly rectified.

Overall a BEST buy for the price if you don’t intend to drive on bad roads!
