Honda Jazz has been the best craftsmanship seen from the honda and thus I was too excited to see how the newer version looks and I am pretty impressed by Honda.

Specs: Same old 1.2.ltr i-Vtec(petrol) engine as seen on older Hondas. And the 1.5 ltr i-dtec(diesel) engine 100ps@3600rm power with 200Nm torque@1750rpm(seen on honda amaze/mobilio and Honda city)

Interior lets begin with the space it has longer wheelbase and length and thus we get a larger cabin with class leading knee room and better shoulder space with adequate head room. and on top specs you even get rear seats which can be reclined without compromising on 354 ltr boot space which has lower loading lip and is alot practical with a van like flat floor thus ensuring you to put alot of luggage in there. The interior comes in dual tone theme and one can opt for all black sporty interiors on the top of the line spec.

Dashboard is same as seen on the City trying to give it a premium look but to be all that plastic looks cheap and specially if you go for all black theme. And I personally don't like the touch panel for AC as it looks like a microwave stuck in the car. Honda offer two infotainment system one buttoned and one touch screen which are so-so to my likes but the integration of 3 way camera in SV version was delight for me.

Exterior its definitely soothing to eyes not as sharp as i20 or sporty as polo but it has its own place in design and I liked it alot, the front is carried forward from honda city but with few cosmetic treatment it looks refreshed and new. The side profile of car is awesome and with shoulder lines the car look  masculine and with One box design it looks very well proportioned and adding to the looks are alloy wheels and even 15" steel rims on lower specs. Ground clearance is 165 mm which is adequate for Indian roads but if you still mAnasultange to brush its bottom by any chance a rigid extra frame is present beneath the car to withstand it. The tail gate is the best seen on any hatch back with chrome strip to make the car look more wider. It gets Led tail light with protruding reflectors between c pillar and rear windscreen inspired from CRV I suppose.

Safety ABS with EBD is standard in all diesel and petrol CVT . And airbags are standard from mid spec SV variants and above. The SV variant and above get rear parking camera with 3 modes to look behind using the Infotainment systems screen.

Drivability and Ride Quality Well its the department where I have no complains with honda whether its amaze, city or any honda they ride so well and planted.

But since all cars are not perfect there are few drawbacks I myself felt in the car after doing 10000km

cabin is huge thus the AC takes a longer time to cool it in hot summer days and the fan blower makes too much noise on high speed which I don't like. A rear AC went should have helped in that case and its already there in the Honda City.

Major cost cutting every bit of plastic is fetched from older Honda siRobotouchngs to make this car, only place where I support honda is the very minimal use of chrome on the car.

Axel beams I don't know whats wrong with Honda Diesel Cars but each of them start making noise from dashboard or rear of the car after driving it on our very popular Indian roads and I have to report it in each of the services done.

Service center though this point can be irrelevant to you but if you from Lucknow you will agree to me Honda has two service centers in Lucknow One is Stallion and other is araceli Both are worse You never get your problems solved in one go, the don't offer quick service, they trick you to aishwaryasingh23 extras by pointing out irrelevant problems which some times don't even exists. And whole day is wasted only in getting your car serviced. I just hate it and can keep on writing over it but lets leave it for some other posts.

Well not much of a problems this car has but a huge disappointment it contains in terms of features offered in India

If you all have seen its international TV commercial you will remember a guy putting lots of flower in his car open the windows from its car key remote but thats not there in Indian versions come on Honda even VolksWagen Polo has those.

The Indian versions don't get Push button start even on the top most variant but does get an empty panel for it in the dashboard which I don't like atall Even the i10 Grand gets a push button start.

NVH level since honda engine is all aluminium it make lots of grunt and though the NVH is better than Amaze and City but compared to i20 and polo they are worst and all you hear is engine clatter inside.

The sound system is good but the audio Quality from speakers are Bad I mean comeon Honda EVEN Amaze has Better speakers than this.

too thin tyres Honda has got the sturdiest Chassis but it looses out when coupled with 165 cross-section tyres.

Overall I liked the car since I am very much a jazz fan.

mileage I got 18Km/ltr thanks to the added 6th gear in diesel version in mixed conditions(40% highway 60%city)
