As I said in my previous review Honda Motor, Japan is the second largest Engine manufacturer of the world. In India they have a joint venture with Sri Ram Group on the name of HONDA SIEL POWER PRODUCTS LIMITED (HSPP). In india they are engaged in the manufacturing of Portable Generators, Water Pumping Sets and General Purpose Engines at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities at Greater Noida, Rudrapur and Pondicherry.
The Technical specifications of The HONDA PORTABLE GENSET Model EXK2000AC are as follows: -

Rated Output:- 1400VA ( or 1400 watts)
In case of Honda portable gensets the VA = watt. ( *For example A Television may consume 100W to 1000W or more. Rated output means the genset is design to deliver best performance upto this output. The fuel economy and life of the genset is best when it runs on this load or less than that .
Maximum Output :- 1600VA or 1600W
This is the max out put this gentset can deliver. The genset will not run more than this limit, it will shut down automatically showing overload.
SOUND :- The model comes with acoustic enclosure to reduce the Noise effect. it is undoubtedly a Super silent Genset.
LOAD :-
Load means the total no. of equipments, you can use on this Genset. The best thinf with EXK200AC model is you can run a 1HP of water pump on this genset, or you can run a combination of normal Television along with a 165 ltrs refrigerator and some lights and fan.The total load should not be more than Maximum output
Fuel Economy :-
EXK200AC uses Dual Fuel Technology, that means it starts on petrol and runs on the kerosene. you can run the genset on petrol too but economically is it not suggested. But Remember one must not try to replace the petrol with kerosene or Diesel.
On the Rated output it consumes 1350ml of kerosene per hour. the Fule tank for petrol has a capacity of 095 Ltr and the fuel tank capacity for kerosene is 9.10Ltrs. That means you can run the Genset continuously for 6.75 hours with a full tank.
Weight :- The dry weight of genset is 76KGs
Starting System:- The Model is purely a Recoil starter it doesn't have self start system. You have a pull a small rope provided with the genset to start it.
The features of Circuit Breaker, Oil Alert and Fuel gauge are also provided in this model.
Some typical combinations you can run with this genset are -
- Bulbs 2x 60w + Tubes 2x60W + Fans 3x75 W + 1TV + 1PC with Printer + 1 desert cooler
OR
- 1 Refrigerator 250 Ltr + Tubes 3x75W + 2 fans + 1 TV + 1 Hand Blender
The combination of Equipments can be replaced as per your convenience.
Overall, the Model EXK200AC is the best in domestic Range because it is the most useful with wide range of domestic equipments and also lower in price because of absence of Self starting system. Honda also provides self start model but I will talk about it in other review.
