I placed an order for a Panasonic cordless telephone KX-TG 3022 costing Rs5140, 2 weeks ago from Homeshop18. Today they have mailed me

that the money will be refunded in another 8 days. This means that they earn interest on customers money for 3 weeks. Basically they are SCAMMING THE CUSTOMERS. Homeshop18 is a big NO. Even till yesterday their customer service said I would receive IT IN A DAY OR TWO, this was after several e-mails and calls. They even bought some time saying, they had to verify the payment. I received an e-mail yesterday assuring me that I would receive my product in a day or two. I have bought small items from them six  months ago. But off late their service is horrendous. One shops on the net to save time and have less hassles, but HOME SHOP 18 HAS NO SUCH VIRTUES. Thier prices are by no means cheap. yesterday I checked a Panasonic dealer and the product was available for Rs5000 and that too with Manufacturer one year warranty. Home shop 18 has a 6 month dealer warranty which I am sure would be a Sham as well.
