I decided to give Home Town a try after hearing their claims of their on stop solution to all your home needs. Sure enough

the store has a lot to offer and the presentation within the store is quite nice. The trouble really starts once you have paid up.

I paid close to 40k for a spring mattress on the 21st of Dec 2007 and am still waiting for the delivery. It has been a pathetic time for me as I try calling people up for status on when the matteress will be delivered. I have already spent two weekends stuck at home waiting for the delivery with no luck. Finally when it gets delivered, there was a tear right on top and had to be returned. I guess quality checks are unheard of.

Now its again a struggle to cancel the order as I am tired of waiting on false promises of delivery.

My adivse, deal with a store that really cares about its customers. It looks like these people simply do not care about their reputation.
