Just got this refrigerator today. It solves the purpose greatly with massive 601 liters of space and looks really so stylish and elegant.
Cannot comment on after sales service yet as there is no fault yet.
10 years replacement warranty on compressor is commendable. Overall 1 year warranty on other components.
Samsung 638 liters fridge was on our list too but the quality of Hitachi just beats Samsungs anyday. The plastics and glass on the Hitachi are really so much more better than the Samsung.
Samsung has the advantage of 5 in 1 convertible and good after sales service, but when we actually saw the 2 fridges side by side, Hitachi clearly has superior build quality and it was evident that the plastics and glass in Hitachi are better. Samsung felt cheap average plastic interiors.
Bought it from Kohinoor and they gave good exchange price for my old Samsung 400 liters fridge along with free installation and demo.
