Split A/C follow-me issue. Review on Hitachi AC

Hi All,

Going through the complains, it seems that I have lesser pain though!

My AC too stop functioning from more than a month giving error message through by blinking filter-mess warning led 9 times(yes NINE time to be precise). Thank God I have AC(not Hitachi) in other room too.

Randomly it does start but it is not reliable so we called Hitachi service men.

They said it is PCB issue. Being an engineer I too checked the PCB and it does not show any issue, its fuses are intact and there is no burn(dark) sign at all.

They started changing with some other PCB. I said let me see the PCB first and also enquired about its genuinity as it was not in any packed box(it was open - loose), there is no MPR, nothing.  They said it will cost me 4400/-. I was taken aback as I have to pay for something which is loose and without any MPR. I am getting fleeced in daylight. On further checking I saw there a hand-written sticker on PCB board- For "Kaze". Now I got more cautious and asked whether it is for same AC as I had "follow-me". On seeing that I was questioning too much(as per them), they dialed their senior number. From senior guy too I did not got any satisfactory answer.

Till date I haven't got the per say faulty PCB changed yet.

If any body has any good pointer/lead from where I myself can buy genuine AC spare-parts, please do let me know.
