My Hitachi Kaze AC was installed vide my complaint no 1603150128 on 17 March 16 and I would like to mention the following shortcomings in the installation quality:
The AC was installed by one Sagar Jignesh dealer of Ahmedabad and the quality of installation is very poor.
The frame for supporting the outer unit of AC was installed with big nails in spite of me telling the technician that I have got bolts which can be driven inside the wall with a pilot.
One support for outer unit of AC was not provided with any not and bolt and it was hanging in the air. The AC vibrates when it runs.
The inner unit of the AC has been installed on a frame which has been placed on the wall with the help of screws which have been driven inside the wall with a hammer(Not Screw Driver). It does not provide any grip inside the wall for the screws which hold the inner unit of AC.
There was an issue of leakage of water from the AC on the bed and I registered a complaint No. 16050203129.
A technician came for repairing the fault and while he was working on it the inner unit of AC came out of the wall(Because the screws supporting the frame gave up and came out of the wall) and left the clamps. Now it is hanging with just one support.
The technician then drove one screw on the plastic part of the inner unit of AC support it on the wall and spoiled the look of the AC.
I must say that the technicians provided by your company are not skilled at all and they are very unprofessional and work with rudimentary tools.
My complaint No 16050203129 was registered on 02 May 16 and is still open(Today is 11 May 16) and nobody has come to attend to it after the AC was spoiled and it is just hanging on the wall and may fall off anytime soon.
Please stay away from Hitachi brand ACs. Go for some Indian Brand AC because an AC requires regular maintenance and Hitachi after sales service is pathetic to say the least.
