Hitachi was giving some good products earlier. That's what made people to buy their Air Conditioners. I too was a victim. I bought this for my office room which was constructed recently. Thought it would be a good cooling machine and helps me to keep my business ideas fresh with good mood. Since my job on computer requires lot of concentration, I had made a office on top of my house only.
After few months of installation, I had an important business meeting with my clients. Throughout the meeting, faced issues with the creeky noise of the AC. Also the cooling effect was not enough. We were sweating like anything.
Next day, I called the customer service to check regarding the cooling effect and noise. They informed that next day the service engineer would turn up. After that I made several calls over 3 to 4 days since the engineer didn't come. I called up the manager of the showroom where I bought this and informed him. He was very reluctant to listen my complaints.
Somehow, the service engineer came on the next day. He was informing me that some minor spares required to keep the AC working properly. However few parts won't get covered in the warranty. I paid almost 1200 rupees extra for this. Even after this, the problem continued after few weeks. Had to sell it for scrap value and bought a new one.
This is totally a waste of money. Never recommend it to anyone.
