I am writing this mail with the deepest regret of purchasing Hitachi Air conditioner. I was under the assumption that it is one of the best ACs in the market with decent customer service. But I have been facing extreme difficulty in getting my fault machine replaced.
We bought Hitachi AC 1.5TR CSD318EAEA from Bajaj electronics Kondapur Hyderabad on 16-June-2017. After purchase, I have struggled a lot for installation, it was delayed so much even after raising multiple requests through customer care.
After 2 weeks of struggle, installation was attempted and it was found that machine is a fault piece.
We were informed that it would get replaced in 4 days. After 4 days, we were informed it would take 2 more days. Finally after that it was attempted to get replaced but again new unit is also nonfunctional.
The authorized services center manager from Hyderabad informed us and sent a mail confirmation that it would get replaced in 4 days from 04 July’17, i.e 08 July’17, which was not done.( there is no option here to attach the mail)
On 11th of July I received a call from the manager(Mubarakh) and regional service manager(Sunil) saying they would require 4 more days to replace the machine. We were promised that by 14th it will be completed for sure.
Since yesterday I have been calling them multiple times for the status update on my replacement and installation, I was told only one word since morning that “ for sure it will be completed today”.
Now I received a call from warehouse person(Anil) that it cannot be delivered today since they have a vehicle unavailability issue. I cannot trust these calls anymore. There is no guarantee that it will be done tomorrow because I was promised like this many times in the past. When asked about the same to Reginal service manager, he was rude in answering it and replied there I no surety, you may record my call thats it.
I have shared this incident with many of my colleagues and friends, and nobody could believe it is an authorized service center doing this kind of service and cheating.
It’s been a month now and I have not enjoyed any benefit of AC for a minute. I have spent 43, 000 on this just to make multiple calls and request the service center and Bajaj electronics people. I spent most time in long-wait calls with a hope that this may be addressed asap.
I am not writing this in a week or 2 after purchase, it has been a month now and we are facing deep inconvenience. We feel cheated and no one is able to help us. I am fed up calling customer care and service center people multiple times. However I am writing this mail to bring to your notice that this is the quality of service being provided by authorized sellers and service centers of Hitachi in Hyderabad, Telangana.
