Great product. I picked one up for my uncle, it hasn't disappointed me one bit. Silent, powerful and works for 8-10 hours.Excellent product at best price and superb service.keep it up.Nice product & great cooling effect. I m using it since at least 6 months & performance is quite satisfactory. I hv got this piece merely in 14, 500/- after all discount & cash back. Only issue is while switchinthe ac is good and cools a small room adequately well. the noise levels are manageable as well and nothing that will make you lose your sleep at night.
the main problem is with the installation request. having called hitachi around 7-8 times, there was still no clarity on when the technician will come for installing the AC. also for some strange reason, hitachi does not provide a plug with their ACs, I am not sure if this is a standard practice among other AC manufactuers but it is really irritating.
the info provided by hitachi customer service was misleading.they earlier said the technician will get the plug.later they retracted it.ealier they said the technician will visit us within 2 business days.when they finally showed up 9 days later.
also I did not get clear information from customer service on who does want in installing the AC. who does the wood work, the frame fitting, etc and we ending up hiring our own carpenter to do it.
all in all it was a nightmarish and furstating experience with the AC lying there on the floor for 9 days taunting us waiting to be "installed"
