I have Hitachi split inverter AC that has become a junk for me. I bought it in 2015 and actually the experience is like a pickpocket of Rs.40000. It was with manufacturing defect, started giving problem for 1st week of its installation. Naturally service centre failed to repair it even after repeated attempts. But Hitachi people never accept their fault. Servicing is absolutely poor. They do not attend calls, will keep you waiting and would not turn up. Delete service calls from record stating that "customer not contactable"- a standard sms you will receive. In short - do not get overwhelmed by the brand name -HITACHI. In reality it does not seem to exist any more.
