HI friends ,

let me start with my experience, it was one dull evening about 3 o clock in my bangalore office , i got my reminder saying that today is friend’s birthday and worse!!!!! i had
not planned for any surprises . stupid .
suddenly out of flash got an idea why not surprise with my presence??? precisely what was my need? i have to be  there in my friend’s house before 11 so that we shall have our usual b day bash. my friends house yes its..... in  ......... chennai.

what to do do? there was this beast  named ambition which i bought a week before from a friend standing in the corridor : in a flash ,yes i was into the bike on the road by 3.30 pm  buzzzzzzzzz . as i rode i really got what is there in it ,

its a 135 cc engine , which gives a power only less than its big brothers like CBZ and others. i was just flying past the puppets of 100 cc bikes. then geting into the highways gave the real feeling of what is in this bike , i shifted to 5th gear and ambition was racing sry flying . the beauty is the stability and robustness shown by the bike against its seemingly simple looks .

all through the journey i was continously riding 70 kmph and often crossing 90 kmph. never i felt that i am wobbling or that thing called vibration . i reached chennai at 9.15 pm with 1/2 hour break at vellore. after that i ordered a cake and enjoyed till 12 0 clock then went for sleep. there was never hint of back pain or tiredness kudos to the best riding posture of ambition . then i returnrd on the next day

one thing surprising was how come this bike came out of hero honda stable ( me a die hard hater of splendor). i think this is the bane of this bike ,  just like sons of great persons falters mainly due to expectation , this bike fails in expectation of a normal die hard indian who belives hero honda bike gives the best mileage. yes even in highways you could only get a decent 55 kmpl.
Had this bike came out of yamaha or even from bajaj , this bike would have become a hit.

features i like

1.
the knee space around the tank , boss belive it its one of the best in the available lot, never mind your height or size it suits u well.
2. the height of the bike is good , it suits well for persons with average and more height.
3 . the best is that we can start the bike at any gear, this is particularly useful in traffic like the one in bangalore.
4. there is a minimal sound and this is certainly a pleasnt note to the ears and to environment.
5. the comfortable riding posture , just ride in pulsar for a hour or so ,you will understand why driving posture is so important .

cons

what it would be other than the bane of whole hero honda bikes  " the poor headlight ". i think somebody should teach these guys at herohonda about how to learn it from a competitor.

verdict;

    boss
the verdict depends on what you expect from a bike , what i expected is good looking , good power , and a fair mileage ( 50 kmpl ) . in my view ambition is very much a bike to have. if you are a skilfull driver you can give pulsar 150cc and fiero 150cc a run for their money on any road in india.

chief ,this bike is a real competitor, it can compete with the so called biggies ( 150 cc) , for a real bikers ( riders of enfield) my next upgradation will be a thunderbird.

for 100 cc and 125cc you keep on boasting for the mileage and wil never know what is biking.

and this ambition is really ambitious in every stride . it fulfills you and make you enjoy riding in a bike.

undernote

can any one tell me where in bangalore i could get a good mechanic to improve the headlight , and where i can  service my bike
