I bought this bike on May 2015 from Adayar Motors Chennai. Within 3 months all the parts started rusting. prior to this I was owning splendor plus which never had such rusting problems. Now Hero has become like royal enfield and started using worst parts for their bike resulting in major rusting problems everywhere on the bike. Don't believe dealers saying it will give 60+ mileage. The maximum mileage you can get is just 45 km/l. My front brake pads had worn out with in 6000kms of usage and I had to replace it. My switch gears are not functioning properly and dealers are not willing to replace it and they keep saying problem has been rectified.
Handling:- It has TVS tyres which provides decent grip both on dry and wet conditions and you can ride with confidence.
Performance:- It has some good amount of torque which pulls the bike upto 80Kmhr. After that it doesn't accelerate well and you need to push it to reach its limits. Its reasonably quick to 60km/hr.
Braking:- I bought frond disc model and feeling is very dull. But we can control the bike from 80Km/hr easily. since its very dull we can use it even on dirty roads which is not possible with sharp front brakes.
Mileage:- Worst in segment. Just 45km/l.
Gearbox:- Very very smooth. no complaints, .
Dashboard:- looks good.
Looks:- It looks good.
Speeds on Each Gear:-
1st - 0 - 20kmhr
2nd - 20 - 35kmhr
3rd - 35 - 55Kmhr
4th 55- 80Kmhr
Pros:-
1) Mid Range Torque makes it easier to ride in city
2) Good Engine braking
3) Grippy TVS Tyres.
Cons:-
1) Rusting
2) Poor Mileage
3) Faulty Switch Gear
