I bought this bike in year 2009 price being Rs.49, 845 on road., I wanted to buy some stylish bike, but my father recommended me to buy ss, as it had the name splendor attached to it which increases its credibility and brand value, the bike is equipped with 125 cc quantum core engine, which provides good average without compromising on power, initially I was skeptical weather it would deliver, what I expected from this bike, I used to ride my bike on an average of 50 kms per day.so, here are my experiences that I wanna share with u guys.
first of all pros of this bike:
strong built quality, remains steady and earthy at high speed.
good mileage.ranges from 57 to 65.
refined engine.
muscular engine sound which I personally like alot.
and now the cons of this bike which I faced:
1.bike for commuter segment, not a performance bike.
2.not a stylish bike.although the new ss looks good.
3.less pickup at low gears.
4.gear shifting problems
5.headlight is not focussed at front, seems scattered.
6.Few minor problems that came along, got my clutch plate changed at 40, 000kms, piston rings at 44300 kms due to white smoke coming out of silencer.now I m at 95, 000 kms, half engine operated but not full.i feel it's quite satisfactory.
so, guys I would definetly recommend u to buy this bike as it is value for money bike and.it is surely built to last.
