Hero Honda Hunk or H3 is very optimum bike for person who use is as city traveller or as office commuter during weekdays and tourer bike on weekends to go for 200-350KM per day. Reasons why it can be used as both purpose:-
Robust 150cc engine, which used to be 160cc in older versions of hunk.
Even after 5 years with good maintenance, my bike gives 35 kmpl in city and 40 kmpl on highways or tours. Fuel tank capacity is 13 litres, so full tank can take you upto 400 kms easily. No worry of being low on fuel or no petrol pumps during tours.
With 145kg Kerb weight bike feels very solid on road and tank fenders provide very reliable aerodynamics, which is very much required in high speed and upwind travelling, to minimize windblast.
As I mentioned above bike feels solid on road and good aerodynamics provide very nice handling and control.
Either is daily commute or highway tour, hunk provides good comfort, and rider sitting posture will not cause any back or body pain. Even the piliion rider seat is very comfortable.
For both uses bike is reliable, but my Hunk version come with only self start option, no kick. Which creates problem sometimes?
Look wise bike looks very elegant and very nice colors available, although I have Black one with red stickers and As there is saying for choosing color - "Always go for Black, cause black goes with anything".
I am have Hero Honda Hunk from last 5 years and I am using it for both daily commuter and tourer, On weekdays I use it for daily commute and on weekends I go for rides.
Maitenance is pretty low for bike and spare parts are available very easily.
