Hello friends my name is Abhishek. I have just purchased hero Honda CD Dawn on 23rd of September 2010. I wanted to purchase a bike which gives good mileage as well as less maintenance. I work in a IT company in Pune and my house is very far from my office. I have to travel 35 km to reach my office. So in a day I cover at least 70 km journey. Believe me friends cd dawn is the bike which worth every rupee we spend. I have already completed 1000 km & first servicing and I am getting 70 km Pl mileage which will increase more after 2 or 3 servicing. This is the best bike for those who want good mileage and zero maintenance.
This is a very useful bike for marketing people who ride bike in every weather condition like in summer season, rainy season. There are some points where you will have to compromise as it has no self start feature. And the side lock is also troubles when you are in hurry and you have to lock your vehicle by using side handle lock. It has a very good headlight but do not have headlight cover so from front it looks like old Rajdoot. But if you are ready for above three major sacrifices this bike will never deceive you.
This is a very loyal and economical bike in current scenario where petrol prices are increasing day by day. This bike will cost you around 38k but If you spend more 500 hundred rupees you can get better look and additional features as I had fixed petrol lock of 90rs and indicator buzzer 30rs and one dickey in 270rs and 110 seat cover. So friends don’t think too much and go for it. I can guarantee that you will love it. The punch line of this bike suits it very much “Public Ka Apna Transport’’.
