The funds they raise will be used to support I Pour Life’s 10×10 women’s empowerment program which equips women living with leprosy and HIV with essential life and business skills. When asked why they chose to support the 10×10 program with their ride, Tyler said, “The women’s empowerment program at I Pour Life really stands out because it’s such effective help. It seems to be the most impactful dollar-for-dollar in affecting poverty and making a lasting difference.”
Aside from raising awareness and funds for I Pour Life, the cyclists hope their ride will inspire others to get involved and active in a cause. “A big part of [our] core value was showing people that they can take whatever talent they have and use it to give back. Anyone can do something, ” Ospina said.
