First & Last Affair with Hero. Review on Hero Honda Achiever

I purchased the new Hero Achiever 150 cc bike. I would like to share may experience about this bike.

1. The bike is having a gentleman look but built up quality is not good. The bike does not provide a comfortable riding posture and you will feel unease when you ride it for more than 10 kms in a stretch.

   
   




2. In Bangalore Traffic conditions it is giving a mileage of 40 within city which matters a lot because you rarely go for a ride on the outskirt highways. A daily commuter usually aspect a better mileage. The bad aspect is engine which heats two much even after a short ride and you can feel the heat on your both legs.

   
   




3. The name Hero means reliability but that is not true for this bike. Feeling unfortunate for having purchased this bikes and eagerly waiting for a reasonable price offer to sell this bike.

   
   




4. Road Grip is not good. You have to be very careful while taking a sharp turn as the back wheel base is not good. You feel smoother performance on good roads but when you have to face the bad roads then this bike fails to perform and you feel irritated.

   
   




5. I am not a paid expert/reviewer which praises anything/everything for money and attention. Just don't purchase this bike. In 150 cc segment Honda Unicorn, Yamaha SZ RR and Pulsar 150 are better options.
