My uncle owns a Hero Maestro since last April. My driving experience with hero Maestro is kind of 50/50. If you keep aside the "such a boy thing crap" it is a pretty good scooter with good specs, the first thing that turns you on is it design and power, as compared to other scooters it provides better handling and control which boosts your confidence through out busy city ride along with a large space under the seat. The pickup is also good & it quickly reaches 0 to 60 in few seconds.
Now about the downs, it surely lacks a front telescopic front suspension which makes it a lot harder to drive in bumpy roads and potholes. In spite of having combined brakes it take a lot of time to slow down the vehicle and the fuel consumption its also not up to the mark (30-35 kmpl).
In short every vehicle has its ups and downs, driving experiences varies with different riders.
Hero Maestro is tough competitor as compared to other scooters in present market.
