Harold Koenig is a prominent psychiatrist who is popular for penning down several books on spirituality. This book discusses the fundamental question, as to how powerful faith is. He discusses several examples where the line between miracle and medicine gets blurry.
He has given several account of people going through certain physical issues, whose problems got solved. He questions if it was medicine that cured their disease or was it their faith that healed them.
He exemplifies with an example of a patient who is going through surgery, and more such cases. Koening gives a detailed description about the scientific evidence supporting his claim. It is quite an interesting read and will surely make you curious. I would recommend more books by Koening like, handbook of religion and faith.
