I have both my kids studying in Headstart and I an extremely happy with their progress. I have had the experience of seeing both kids go through Headstart early years program, pre primary and now the primary school.
The best part about the school is the dedication of the teachers and the management towards the school. Where academics is concerned the kids are doing very well. They are independent in doing studies, with clarity in concepts.
My son who is in the primary school is doing great in drums, is passionate about gardening that he does in school, weekend hard for spell bee contests and gets a book to read from school library every week.
He is an average kid and is learning good things from school. I like the fact that school discourages fancy pencil boxes, bottles etc and teaches kids to stay grounded.
Security at head start has always been great. In fact I marvel at the extra work that the teachers take up to ensure that kids are safe.
Annual day functions, sports days etc may be a grand affair but they do demonstrate that kids are taught to be independent, and to take on responsibilities.to conclude both children are happy and progressing well and are extremely satisfied with the school.
