Well Hazaron Khwahishen Aisi is the best ever title that could be conceived of such a movie...simply because I wish we had thousands of other movies made like this one! But I guess not every great
filmmaker in India has the capacity to even think of such a movie (leave alone writing a script for it!), and, more importantly, and honestly, India does not have many talented young actors of the calibre of Kay Kay Menon, Shiny Ahuja, and of course, the brilliant Chitrangada Singh! As a movie lover, I accept all the flaws which were shining bright in the movie, simply because the great performances by the the actors were good enough to outshine any kind of blemish in the movie. Year after year, we are bombarded with films of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan where they keep doing the same things over and over again, and then there is Aamir Khan who is more interested in marketing his movies than genuinely making a great movie, and yet he is hailed as a great actor, and yet all the three Khans are superstars! Shame on Indian cinema, shame on Indian cinegoers, shame on Indian filmmakers....because if being a star had to do anything with acting in India, then Chitrangada Singh should have been bigger than the irritating Aishwarya Rai, Kay Kay Menon would have been good enough to be truly called a great, and Shiny Ahuja.....my o my....if only his dads name would have been Amitabh Bachchan (sigh!). This film should be recommended in each and every filmmaking and acting institute of India to understand what is good acting all about. As a viewer, I am absolutely bowled over, I feel I do not deserve to complain or point out any flaw in the movie, and I truly think this is one of the greatest movies to have ever been made in India. Hazaron Khwahishen Aisi ki movie banayiye to sirf aisi!
