Wanna see real cinema in Bollywood? Watch Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi and you will be astonished to know that reality makers do exist in Bollywood. Listen to its dialogues, watch its cast
performance and you will know that there is no compromise made for the sake of commercialism.
Truly daring movie, wrapped in a rough but very meaningful way. Must watch for everyone, who wants to understand the India of 60s. And, I wouldnt be doing justice to movie, if I dont mention the performace of Shiney Ahuja. He has proved himself in his debut movie. Kay kay was awesome as always. People may find some dialogues offensive, but they should understand the need of the script and plot. Sometimes we have to compromise on the decency part in order to show the real cinema to the viewers. However the compromise hasnt been done on the quality part.
The quality of cinema is great, and we really need such kind of movies, if we want the people to know that mass awakening is very important. Though, the movie doesnt promise to send a message to the public at the end, no doubt it presses the viewer to think about it.
A simple story told in a realistic way, thats what this movie is.
