Haywards 5000 should come with a warning. ’’STRONG beer’’ means STRONG. I’m hardly a lightweight, but having just two of these during dinner, I ended up sitting in my car in a parking lot listening to the radio for 90 minutes or so, not daring to think about driving. I’m not sure if the alcohol content exceeds that of Bacardi 151 or if there’s some secret Indian ingredient designed to up it’s ’’kick’’, but I’m telling ya.......watch out. It’s good stuff; kind of like Heinekin with a kick, but the ’’strong beer’’ label should be given some respect and this ’’strong’’ brew should be enjoyed only when a designated driver or taxi has been called.
