I read this book in my vaccations for passing time ..it was given to me by my mom’s friend ...i read it an got so engrossed that in next two days i read other two sequels as well...back then abt 5 yrs ago it wasnt that popular (i guess)....but i got my own copies for my collection....
Trust me its worth a collection ...the book is said to b childrens story but takin in consideration that harry is 11 when the story starts it fits...a new world id created as we go on readin ..a boy who find out he is :
-A wizard !!!!!!
-His parents were wizards too
-He is famous (next to god) in the wizards world(a world parallel to ours normal humans)
when he recieves a call from hogwarts a wizarding school (one of the oldest an best in wizard worlds !!!!!!!!!!!).Then follows the description of wizarding world..its totally a amaizer ,enchanter ,u can actually visualize the things in front of ur eyes aa u read ...thats due to the sheer details put in by rowlin the author.....
Then harry meets his to b best friends hermonie and ron......an they follow their lifes in hogwarts but strange things are happening in this already strange world...mystrey unfolds as harry find out that his parents were murdered by voldemort an evil wizard who in attempt of killing harry who was at age of one almost died himself...how...no 1 knows....but that makes harry famous.Now he has to save a mysterious stone(philosophers/soceres) from gettin into hands of voldemort which will bring him back to life.....an make him unbeatable........
