i don’t know if you understood my title but i meant five star.yeah!i actually came to know how good harry potter was only after seeing the first movie.i then became crazy of harry potter.or potter maniac.i immediately bought the books.

now lets get to the point.harry potter is an orphan whose parents(wizards) have been killed by the darkest and most evil wizard of the time.oops! forgot to tell you ,this is about magic.now lets go back.he is left with his aunt and uncle who hate magic and thus hate him.harry leads a miserable life being teased by his spoilt cousin dudley.one day before his 11th birthday(he doesn’t expect his aunt or uncle to remember his birthday,let alone give him gifts)he recieves a letter.the letter was sent from hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry informing him that he is a wizard and has got admission to that school.but his uncle tears it as he knew this already and did not want to send harry to a wizard school.he repeatedly got letters and his uncle tore all of them.then on his birthday a giant of a man breaks open the door of their hut(read the book for details)and gives harry his letter in person.the man happens to be from hogwarts and explains to him everything from how his parents died to him being a wizard.actually the dark wizard voldemort who killed his parents was killed(not exactly) when he tried to kill harry(the killing curse backfires).so he is hungry to survive (he did not die exactly,read the book)and kill harry. now he has inherited a lot of money from his parents and uses that to buy his school supplies and pay the fees.he reaches hogwarts by the hogwarts express and makes friends on the way with a nerd hermione granger and ron weasley.at school he finds an enemy too,named draco malfoy.the headmaster is a wonderful wizard,the enemy of voldemort.harry finds hogwarts a wonderful home.harry finds joy in a game called quidditch(something like football on flying broomsticks).the bond between the three friends strengthens when ron and harry save hermione from a troll.they have fun and help each other out in all kinds of situations.the three friends find out through investigating that the school is hiding some weapon through which voldemort could come back to power.the weapon called the philospher’s stone can make any person immortal.then they suspect a teacher of helping voldemort get it.then they try to block him from getting the stone by getting to the hiding place of the stone.they have to pass various challenging do or die tests to get to the stone.finally........i won’t spoil the suspense.

there is fluency.the story does not jump from one place to another.but older people may find it boring.it is the best book of the hp series because even if any other book of the series is better then it will be because of this book(all the books are based on the first book).but one con.the book tilts in favour of harry.they put too much importance on him.

it may seem stupid the way i have written.but the book is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!i assure you this.it is very difficult to write even a review on a harry potter book.you need to have the genius of jk rowling to even write a review on harry potter.if the my review is # then the book is ##########,so good the book.
