The movie based on this book was dark - for the story turns sinister here. But the moviemakers took it too literally, did not really enjoy the movie. However, the book is much more fun.
Harry is being protected from a prisoner who has escaped from the dreaded prison Azkaban - the first such convict to escape. All his mistakes are forgiven to keep him safe. And yet, Harry has to indulge in all kinds of adventures to save his dear friend Hagrid and to find whose betrayal caused his parents death. He comes across what he fears the most. Prof. Lupin's secret is revealed. And he ends up being hated even more by Snape, if that was possible.
