My review on Harry Potter books is something I look forward to.
The cute little artifacts and funny little strange creatures are very delighting. The life in every inanimate object makes it comic and amusing. It carries us far to the neverland but is a nourishing reading. The queer characters with gripping story lines make it captivating.
But what I savor the most is the perfect analogy crafted between the enthralling magical world of JKR and our real world. The basic big truths which underly our worldly scenes and which drive our world are the same for the magical world too. Just that they have got manifested in a different form. The dementors are nothing but the big, impossible worldly problems.
Problems that have no solutions and that draw away all the happiness and charm. They are the engulfing pains which could be overcome only by the patronous within you. It?s the unknown hope - the light which is there enwrapped and needs the positive energy to emerge and overcome the dementor. This energy takes a lot - enormous strength of emotions.
Mind and body are driven by emotional forces and the one with more intricate emotions is a stronger being and more powerful. Whether it?s a positive force or negative comes next. They are these emotional potentials that drive you past the hurdles far to the zenith. Harry is asked by Professor Lupin to remember a moment which is potent, heavy - which leaves a strong impression , he also mentions at a later stage that no matter if the memory is good or bad but it has to be of the highest degree. That is how he instigates the patronus.
JKR also has her boggarts. What are they? The likes, dislikes, fear, anxieties are nothing more than just the states of mind. The boggarts play these states of mind. And the riddikulus charm is an effortless, instantaneous transition. Nothing is really fearful or ugly or dangerous in the world.
It is exactly the way it is perceived. Isn?t the ugly despicable dragon the cutest darling of Hagrid?! So the next time you see an unnerving reptile or you sense a heavily negative depression, just think of the diametrical situation and tune your mind rather ?switch? your mind to take it in your stride. It?s all the question of mind power.
Thus I enjoy the harry potter world .Because it is actually our own world, the very place we thrive in.
