I love all Harry Potter books, and I have read them again and again. They are simply astounding - imagination at its best, humour, values, truth over evil and a song-n-dance thrown in too - it's a complete blockbuster! Being the 2nd book in the series after the unexpected success of the first, there were great expectations from this one.
And it met them all. The story is as interesting, as funny, the characters so good - that the book is better than the first. The Chamber of Secrets is the only story, wherein the movie interpretation has done justice to the book. The climax when Harry, Hermione and Ron enter the chamber and conquer each of its challenges, is awesome! Visiting Ron's magical home, flying the invisible car - every moment from start to end is incredible. Coming back to normal life after reading a book like this is difficult.
