''Jay Hanuman,'' notches further due to an extremely upbeat orchestration and a velvety vocalization by Shankar Mahadevan and Kailash Kher. The track scores high on inspiring lyrics set on an uncomplicated tune.
Some divine fun and frolic gets underway with ''Akdam Bakdam'' that is rendered by Shravan, the kiddo who sounds absolutely cute. Unlike the previous two, this one is different thanks to the verve and velocity, such that the track races through your senses, escalating the kid's celestial rapping.
''Destroying The Ashok Vatika'' and ''Bridge Across the Ocean,'' both rendered by Vijay Prakash, compliment the overall tempo of this daringly different compilation.
Side B of the tape, opens with ''Hanuman Chalisa'' tunefully recited by singers Vijay Prakash, Nandini and Rashmi followed by brisk instrumentals in ''The War Begins,'' and ''Kumbhkaran.''
The compilation comes to a quick conclusion with dubbed voice of Rajesh Jolly in ''Ravan Goes to War'' and a complete fulfilling track, ''Jay Bajrangbali'' that has Palash and Kinshuk Sen swathed in blissful harmonies.
Obviously, there is not much commercial element associated with the music of Hanuman that thrives on its devotional appeal and a huge celebrity singer prop up.
