I have always been a fan of ayurvedic products, so when my friend suggested me to try hamam I bought it at marks&Spencer in Chennai and this soap impressed me with its smell, it felt like the soap had strong scent of tulasi and neem .so I thought of reviewing this soap and I thank mouth shut for giving me this opportunity.

Hamam soap is a product of Hindustan unilever limited launched in 1931 as a natural soap for families. Hamam was the only Indian-made natural soap back in its launch time. It is said to have ingredients like neem, tulasi and aloe Vera which protects your skin from 10 skin problems like body odor, rashes, pimples, skin allergies, prickly heat and other skin infections .Hamam is a 300 crore brand and is a very popular soap among all Indian families today .

Hamam comes with simple packaging in the green cover, open the cover and you will find the soap bar green in color which gives you impression that it is a natural soap, however I felt the shape of the bar to be a little rough and uneven .The smell of the soap is very refreshing but strong.

Rub the soap very mildly on the skin to avoid the dryness, it is known that excessive rubbing of herbal soaps on your skin makes your skin dry and look flaky, so make sure you apply the soap in a very mild manner. As mentioned earlier hamam is made with oils of neem, tulasi and aloe Vera, all three ingredients exhibit unique properties to keep your skin safe and healthy.

Neem is known to have healing properties and give soothing effect to skin

Tulasi has got a smell that acts as a stress relieving agent to your mind and body
