So the infamous purple tint of HTC One was there in my cellphone. I gave it for repair on 16 October 2013 so that it could be fixed. Since HTC takes 7-10 days to get the cellphone repaired I wasnt able t collect cellphone till today as I had gone back to my college.
Today when I collected my cellphone the purple tint was as it is. I was surprised and when asked them what they had repaired I was informed that the part was replaced. I asked them if the part has been replaced then why is issue still there to which I was given no appropriate reply.
So I made contact with HTC customer care helpline and informed them that since I have to leave for my campus on 4th I need the cellphone to be either repaired on priority or replaced. Both of my request were ignored and I was asked to wait for another 7-10 days. Now it is beyond me that why the hell should I wait for another 7-10 days and since I wont be able to collect the phone anyway if delivery is delayed whats the use anyway the phone is with them since more than a month.
Also the person at the helpline told me that they apologize for the inconvenience caused and this time they will ensure that the problem will be resolved that's the best they could do. I am unable to understand whether I should thank her for this as this is something I already deserve as a part of the one year warranty that when I give my cellphone for repairs during warrant it be bloody well repaired so that the defect goes but nothing of any sort happened.
My parents are not tech friendly and I will not be able to come back prior to December and therefore I wont be able to use the cellphone. And theres always the probability that the cellphone might be repaired as it is just like they did this time.
Now I don't understand that after spending a fortune on HTC for buying the premium phone offered by HTC which I wont be able to use anyway for a considerable time of the warranty what should I do?
Sick of you HTC, never gonna buy anything from you ever again.
