I would like to tell everyone to stay away from HDFC Life. The rates will be good no doubt. But Once you start talking to their executives through emails and phones, you will understand where they have saved money.
The system is unreliable. I filed my application Dec-7, 2015 received an acknowledgement from them that all documents have been received on Dec-19th, I went for my medical check-up on Jan-9th, 2016 and they say all is good. Now, I still have not received my policy, and nobody has an explanation as to why.
They keep calling me and ask to upload the same documents again and again. I get one phone call daily. It is tiring and irritating. I ask them to check my file and they find the document there and they say sorry. It happens EVERY DAY! I keep shouting on deaf ears.
Now I want to cancel my application and want a refund and have emailed them thrice, and called them a zillion times, no response.
