I have HDFC ERGO Mediclaim Policy for my mother.I purchase this policy on 17/10/14 & expire on 16/10/16. My mother is hospitalized between 28/2/16 to 12/3/16.This hospital is not Network Hospital HDFC ERGO. so as per Hdfc Ergo instruction I pay all money from my side. In Hospitalization Period nobody HDFC ERGO person call me & visit in hospital.
When they sell policy to me that time they speak very sweet & big promise. After discharged of mother I send all documents as per HDFC claim check-list on 28/3/2016.After 5 days HDFC ERGO upload my claim in system.on 5/3/16 send me first quary, which mentioned they required ALL PAST REPORTS & IPD PAPERS.But all IPD reports are already send on 28/3/2016.
Without check all papers Hdfc Ergo send me Foolish quary. when I reply of that quary that time Hdfc Ergo Say me we got all IPD reports. After that they send me again one quary, about They require All PAST DOCUMENTS of my mother.From last 2 months im try to say my problem to HDFC ERGO why im not provide all past documents. Because my mother is first time hospitalized in between 28/2/2016 to 12/3/2016. This is first time im do all my mother pathological tests.
So from where im collect all past documents. But Hdfc Ergo dont understand that.Then I complaint in IRDA regarding that then they give alternative solution about past documents.they say me if u have not any past documents so then send YOUR TREATING DOCTOR HAND WRITING LETTER which mentioned approx. period regarding my mother aliments. As per Hdfc Ergo instruction I send Dr. letter on 5/5/16 which mentioned clearly time period & PATIENT HAVE NO ANY PAST DOCUMENTS. this is first time admitted in my hospital.After that HDFC ERGO give me 21 days time for final result. from 5/5/16 no body Hdfc Ergo person call me regarding status.When my 21 days finish on 25/5/16 before that on 24/5/16 send me again foolish quary. only words are now change. When I buy policy from HDFC ERGO that time no body say me they required all past documents. They sell only policy. after that they do only time pass. They have no any p&p about claim. lot of time im ask about p&p of Claim & past documents but they every time say WE HAVE NO ANY P&P ABOUT CLAIM. so how they work in insurance field.whenever I send Quary reply to HDFC ERGO that time they give me max. 21 days time period for final status, but when my 21 days finished before one day they send me again same quary. this happen from beginning.so I dont know when it is finished? So I request to all PLS. DONT BUY ANY POLICY FROM HDFC ERGO. Its Fraud company.They have no any care about customer. they only try to refuge of claim.
