My name is rohit and I also used a policy from hdfc ergo and trust me they have worst plan all over the market. They show you something else and sell a different product. They calculated my premium approximately 60% of paid premiums of 18 years. I stooped my policy after one year. Lets go through key points:
Customer service:
They will not followup you once you have purchased their plan and they will que your complaints in endless process.
Claim settlement:
Not sure about that but heard from many people that they are not good in this business also.
Rate:
They have lot of variable plans but calculation methods are very poor. Sometimes they push you in a option where they want.
Staff attitude:
Staff is as per usual salesman type before selling and after they become invisible and use to make many excuses. They will call you on next year, at the time of premium .
So guys please stay away from this company.
