I had paid the first policy for two years, before this policy got expired, I had to add one more person and renew the policy, I tried but did not get the option for adding one more person(during first term, I used to get this option). I spoke to the customer care, they took my kids details and assured to add my kid into the policy after the second term starts, at this moment I had already renewed the policy(for two years) and no refund possible.
Now when the second term has started on 2nd November 2016. I spoke to the customer care once again, but they denied adding the kid into the policy. They say I should call them before renewing the policy and inform them. So here's the catch, I had already paid but the term was not yet started, in this period they could have added my kids details. Now after the term has started, they clearly deny adding any other person into the policy.
This is complete blunder and making people simply fools. HDFC ERGO guys if you see this post and help adding my kid into the policy, I'd really appreciate. But if you see and ignore then I'll make sure I spread reviews about you everywhere possible.
Don't waste your money on advertising, rather spend on giving good service, you'll grow with word of mouth.
