HDFC ergo is a worst Health insurance company. Never go for it. I have a credit card and got the call from them as it is an offer with the special customer, I tried and avoided not to take, but the way the guy spoke as he has targets to full fill and some short of stories, so I convinced and took the insurance. Last 7 years and having corporate insurance but never used it any time. This time it was an emergency and I had to go for a quick surgery of my hip joint, which has been found in 4 months back. As the hospital was a network hospital I had given HDFC ergo for cashless facility but after 3days they declined it saying I have not disclosed the dieases while taking the insurance. As per the history I had fell down before 4years while walking. So they mixed up the dieases with the history and disapproved the same. Dr also confirmed that it cannot be a 4year old dieases, still they were stick to their dicesion and cancelled it. I had to beg infringement of my friends to get discharged from hospital. It was very pathetic. Never ever believe in them, they are chitters.
