My experience with HDFC credit card was very bad. First of all, there customer care number 1800 425 4332(toll free from BSNL / MTNL landline and 022 6160 6161 during agent hours between 9:30 am to 6:30 pm on weekdays and 9:30 am to 1:30 pm on Saturdays) connects rarely. If connected by chance, they will never resolve your queries. They will provide you some alternative customer care number which also never connects.This happens to me several times.
Whenever, you receive an call from HDFC credit card customer service related to payments, they will never inform you the exact payment process. They always ask to pay minimum payable amount or always call you on last due day. Due to this lack of information, I had paid more than double to close my account with them.
Never get trapped in their fake commitments of Best customer Support.
Not good for new credit card holders. Once you experience this kind of fake service commitments from them you will automatically realize.
