I have been using HDFC visa Credit card for last 8 years. Last year I changed my Job and came to new Location.
My HDFC card was due for renewal in Dec 2016. Since then My struggle with HDFC started.
I applied three times for address change and made almost >20 call to customer care. But, nothing moved.
I went to several HDFC Bank branches for help. But to my surprise, HDFC credit card issued by HDFC bank but no Bank branch will help for anything related to card. They shamelessly tell to go/write to Chennai Branch.
My first query "Why every HDFC credit card is embossed with HDFC BANK logo if they can't handle any request".
It is first thing to make customers fool.
They are saying signature doesn't match and hence they can't perform address change. They suggested to send signature mismatch form, I sent that one also. But they are saying they have not received it and asking for acknowledgement.
Let me tell, there is no such facility of acknowledgement when you drop in HDFC Bank branch drop box.
I asked but they denied.
My old card expired and new card is with Chennai office(as per msg received). As my new card is not with me, I cannot spend anything but to make the situation worst, they continue to send bill to me on my email address.
Now, I cannot pay the bill as I don't have full card number, and also why should I, if I am not spending.
I am totally afraid about misuse of my card by Chennai staff with the way they are behaving.
I would suggest to not take HDFC Visa card. HDFC Bank Branch will be of no help(if anybody assuming branches and every nook & corner).
Please help me to get out of it.
