HDFC Credit card is not so different from other cards, every business unit does it business for profit but not like a social or charity society, Interest rates and other charges are normally high
when we discuss about HDFC card, Processing is easy if you have a Account in HDFC and CIBIL score is High, if not mostly no Card to you even all the docs are collected.
starting credit limit is very good compared to other cards. acceptance in market is very high basically Visa or master,
Till your repayment is fine HDFC card will look like savior, but when you miss the same then you will understand the real face of Credit card system. collection department is very much active, I don't say strong . They will take you off with their followup, auto account debit, so in return, penal charges, bounce charges, collection charges, what not every thing which you don't dream of in this system.
so your repayment will be much more in size than actually taken almost 2 or 3 times.
I rate there collection followup as worst, since they lack quality in understanding the issue, and coming to service . just forget about that when your repayments are not proper.
when we go for any Credit card, Prepare in your mind for worst and go ahead, if not necessary I prefer to avoid credit card.
