I am not talking about HCL-Infinity, but Eazybee.
Firstly Infinity & Eazybee/Beanstalk are both different.
HCL-Eazybee/Beanstalk is being sold & maintained through their dealer network, while the HCL-Infinity is sold & serviced directly by the company personnels.
Using Infinity was horrible. The machine broke down regularly & here in Sikkim the company has only one sales & service personnel, who was very nice while selling, but when very soon I needed the service, he would just not turn up. Either he was out of town, or was unwell or even not taking up the calls at all, hence I was forced to approach other vendors & get paid service.
Later on I turned up & got one HCL-Eazybee P-4, it is working very well & now I am quite happy owning a good PC, with good service. Whenever I need them, their person drops down in no-time.
In fact earlier I had dropped the idea of going for another HCL machine, but when locally I heard so much goodness about the HCL-Eazybee from my friends around, I decided to go for it. And this time the sales person was very helpful and the service person was very nice to help me out with all required upgradations at the start itself, viz.256 MB ram against original 128 only, Combo Drive against original CD-rom only etc. It was very nice to know from them that HCL(Hindustan Computers Ltd.) is doing so well in 26 countries, and an Indian Multinational has turned out to be a bestseller in Indian Subcontinent, due to their quality as well as after-sales-service.
And I will never recommend HCL-Infinity, but will always recommend HCL-Eazybee.
