Sir, I was travelling from Muscat,Oman to Mumbai by Gulf Air. I boarded the aircraft around 1.30am. On my first view on the air craft ( very old and dangeroud look it possess) i got fear about it.
Next , The aircraft started around 2am. Immediated while taking off it started jurking,Vibrations and some unusual sounds which appprehened almost all the passengers sitting in the aircraft. The jurking continued for 30 minutes. After that jurking and vibrasion stopped. But another problem of Electricity failure started. All the lights and TV systems suddenly stopped for about 1minute and this thing happened 2-3 times. With such things i understood that some fault is this in the aircraft, As i have gained some knowledge about aircraft funtioning. Because of this one do not believe me that i was so frightned that my heart got paining and my mind was gone and i refused eating any thing which airhosts offered. I took only one glass of water. The lady sitting beside my seat was a frequent flyer. which was revealed by our conversation and her passport details. Even she was also feeling tensed and blaming airlines officials for poor maintanance of the aircraft. I started preying to the god. Meanwhile i was observing the lady and her feeling as she was more experience in flying than me. This was my 7 flight journey in my life. I started asking her time to time - Are we reaching to Mumbai? She replies no it is still far. After asking 9 times i thought it is good to see outside from window and started looking outside. On continious looking outside i discovered lights on Arabian Sea. Immediately without hesitation i asked the lady -Are we reaching Mumbai? This time with a little smile she told Yes,we are nearner to Mumbai. This answer of lady realy pacify me a lot . Now i generated a feeling that whatever will happen to aircraft No problem as if any thing bad happens to Aircraft i will die on my own country land. I thanked to the lady for giving information. Immediatly the Cabin Crew announced that with in 10-15 minutes we will reache to MUMBAI. Finally anound 4.55am ,Indian Standered Time, aircraft reached to Mumbai CST airport. When aircraft landed on grounds of MUMBAI,INDIA, I preyed to god once again and immediately went to Toilet. And i was the 3 to last person who came out of the plane as i was in the Toilet for 3-Minutes. While coming out from the aircraft what i saw was most astonishing thing in my life. A group of some 8-12 airport personnel was standing in front of the plane. They were waiting to inter the aircraft .That time i was sure that there was some problem with the aircraft in which we were flying but due to god’s blessing we all are safe.
I travelled 7-times in Aircrafts but i never experienced such experience in my life. I strongly believe that Airlines companies should not think about money aspect only, thoug they are in business and but they should not forget that they are serving human kind. So All Airlines company should maintain properly their aircraft and they should think maintanace as investment to humanity rather than expediture.
